Hold a series of international master lectures

Over the past three years, the Center has invited numerous international scholars for keynote lectures and academic exchanges to provide students with cutting-edge expertise and broaden their global perspectives. Visiting speakers included UC Davis scholars Dr. Blake Meyers (a member of the U.S. National Academy of Sciences), Dr. R. Holland Cheng, Dr. Maria L. Marco, Dr. Savithramma Dinesh-Kumar (a member of the U.S. National Academy of Sciences), Dr. Ioannis Stergiopoulos, Dr. Erkin Seker, Dr. Yen-Wen Kuo, Dr. Philipp Zerbe, Dr. Xiaosa (Jack) Xu, Dr. Matthias Hess, Dr. Mitchell Feldmann, and Dr. Imtiyaz Khanday, as well as Dr. Toshiyuki Shimizu from the University of Tokyo and Dr. Ha Viet Cuong from Vietnam National University of Agriculture, among other distinguished scholars, totaling 83 visits.

Go abroad for talent cultivation and exchange

The Center supports sending young scholars to overseas academic and research institutions for research exchange, enabling them to engage with international frontier knowledge and technology platforms, strengthen global linkages, and enhance talent cultivation capacity to develop outstanding talents with international impact. Over the past three years, a total of 41 young scholars or doctoral students have gained international research experience through the Center’s programs.
