University of California, Davis (UC Davis) is ranked as one of the top 100 universities in the world, and it is also the most important academic research institution for the agricultural science in the United States. Based on UC Davis' world-leading fundamental research of animal and plant sciences, the Seed Biotechnology Center (SBC), established in 1999, expands its functions to education, industry-university promotion and public services. SBC has been selected by our center as a benchmark in the academic research and practical application of advanced plant biotechnologies. It will enhance research vitality and international competitiveness of NCHU.
