[Ching-Hsiu Tsai] The gibberellic acid derived from the plastidial MEP pathway is involved in the accumulation of Bamboo mosaic virus
Once the plants were infected by the Bamboo mosaic virus, the metabolic pathway in the chloroplast was regulated to enhance the biosynthesis the phytohormone gibberellin (GA). GA could induce the expression of downstream genes, including CA and FNR, which were the assistant factor for BaMV replication.
