Dr. Wilhelm Gruissem is Professor for Plant Biotechnology at the ETH Zurich (Swiss Federal Institute of Technology). Unfortunately, the climate in Switzerland is too cold to rice growth. But when he came to Taiwan for a meeting in 2017, professor Chang-Hsien Yang invited him to do research in Taiwan.
