[Shuen-Fang Lo] Closer vein spacing by ectopic expression of nucleotide-binding and leucine-rich repeat proteins in rice leaves
Using Taiwan Rice Insertional Mutants (TRIM) to screen out mutant with high vein density. After gene function identification, it was found that rice ectopic expression of NB-LRR proteins in rice leaves can increase vein density, which is a major advance in the establishment of C4-like rice.
